Blackpool visited Adams Park on Saturday 4th August 2018 for Wycombe Wanderers first League One game after winning promotion in the 2017/18 season.
Wycombe made a flying start with Paris Cowan-Hall making at attempt on the Blackpool goal in the second minute of the match however his long range shot was saved in the top centre of the goal.
Adebayo Akinfenwa made various attempts on the Blackpool goal but they were either saved or slightly off target.
In the forty second minute Chris Taylor nearly scored for Blackpool but his shot, from a direct free kick, hit the crossbar.
The score was goalless at half time, the second half continued in the same fashion with both sides having chances by failing to capitalise on them.
In the eighty ninth minute Michael Harriman was sent off after receiving a second yellow card for a foul on Blackpool’s Nathan Delfouneso. Wycombe were reduced to ten men but with the match nearly over Blackpool were unable to gain an advantage.
The match ended in a goalless draw and the points were shared. Wycombe are now in thirteenth position in League One with one point from one game.
