Man stabbed during assault in Dashwood Avenue, High Wycombe

A man was stabbed during an assault in Dashwood Avenue, High Wycombe.

On Thursday 23rd August 2018, between 9.30pm and 9.45pm, two men were driving along Dashwood Avenue in High Wycombe.

As the two men pulled up in their car near to the industrial area they saw three men who looked like they were attempting to break in to an industrial unit.

The driver of the car challenged the men, one of the three men walked over to the driver’s side of the car and stabbed the driver, he was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital and was treated for superficial wounds. He has since been discharged.

The three men are believed to have made off in a grey car, possibly a Peugeot 407. The man who carried out the attack is described as white man, in his late twenties, around 5ft 11ins tall and wearing a grey hooded top.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Stephen Fox of Force CID based at High Wycombe, said: ‘We are carrying out an investigation into this incident and asking the public for information.
