Hundreds sign People’s Vote petition in Aylesbury

| September 10, 2018

On Saturday 8th September 2018 hundreds of people in Aylesbury signed a petition calling for the British people to be given a vote on the Brexit deal.

Activists and supporters from Open Britain, the European Movement and Britain for Europe took to the streets and ran a stall in Aylesbury where passers by of all political parties and all walks of life showed their opinion of the Brexit process on a ‘BREXITometer’ (pictured below).

Several people who attended the stall even gave offers of help to volunteer with the People’s Vote campaign.

The pro-European event follows the difficult Brexit negotiations and the ensuing acceleration in the People’s Vote campaign, calling for the British people to be given a vote on the Brexit deal.

Further information on the People’s Vote Campaign can be found on the People’s Vote Campaign website where you can also sign an electronic version of the petition to demand a People’s Vote on the final Brexit deal.

A further event will be held in Buckingham on Saturday 15th September 2018.
