Man threatened with knife during robbery in John Hall Way, High Wycombe

A man was threatened with a knife during a robbery in John Hall Way, High Wycombe.

On Thursday 4th October 2018, at around 7.15pm, a 50 year old man was walking along John Hall Way when he was approached by a man from behind who threatened him with a knife and demanded money. The 50 year old man, who was not injured during the incident, handed over £20 and the robber ran away.

The robber is described as a man, about 5ft 10ins tall with a medium build. He was wearing a dark hooded top with light coloured trousers and dark shoes.

Investigating officer DC Laura Burns, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘We are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of this offence to please come forward.

I would also urge anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the area to get in touch as it may provide vital information.
