David Bowie statue in Aylesbury sprayed with blue paint

The statue of David Bowie in Aylesbury has been vandalised again.

Some time between 8.00pm on Wednesday 10th October 2018 and 4.00am on Thursday 11th October 2018 blue paint was sprayed on the David Bowie memorial statue in Aylesbury Market Square. The paint was also sprayed on some of the buildings nearby.

Investigating officer PC Terry Lewis, based at Aylesbury police station, said: ‘I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information that may help with this investigation.

If you recognise any of the symbols in the photos [links below], please let us know. I would also like to encourage anyone who owns a CCTV camera in this area to review the footage from Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
