Pro-European activists from High Wycombe attend People’s March in London
A group of Pro-European activists from Pulse of Europe in High Wycombe attended the People’s March in London on Saturday 20th October 2018.
The activists from High Wycombe made their way to Amersham Underground station where they joined other Pulse friends in Green Park before heading to Hyde Park where the march was due to begin at 12.00pm.
Other groups from all over the South Buckinghamshire also attended the march which saw an estimated 670,000 people from all over the United Kingdom protest in support of a second referendum, or ‘People’s Vote’, on Brexit. The start of the march was delayed until 1.00pm due to the huge number of people in attendance.
Initially only 100,000 people were expected to attend the march which set off led by young voters and the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, and ended with a rally in Parliament Square.
