Man stabbed following altercation between a group of ten men in High Wycombe

A man sustained what are believed to be stab wounds during an assault in High Wycombe.

On Sunday 23rd December 2018, at around 1.50pm, an altercation between a group of approximately ten men occurred in Hennerton Way, High Wycombe.

Police received reports that knives were seen during the altercation. Shortly afterwards a 19 year old man presented himself at a hospital with non-life threatening injuries which suggest he has been stabbed.

Police believe the offenders are aged between 17 and 19 years old, with short dark hair and wearing ‘puffer’ style jackets or hooded jackets. A silver Saloon vehicle was also sighted in the area.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Stephen Fox of High Wycombe Force CID, said: ‘This was a serious incident in which one person has received injuries which appear to be from a knife.

This incident happened in the middle of the day in a relatively busy area so we think it will have been witnessed.
