Woman injured during assault in Princes Risborough on New Years Day 2019

A woman was injured during an assault in Princes Risborough on New Years Day 2019.

On Tuesday 1st January 2019, between about 4.10am and 4.25am,a 19 year old woman was waling in a car park in Carlton Court, Bell Street, Princes Risborough. The woman was approached by two people with foreign accents who assaulted her, causing her cuts to her legs. The woman then fled the scene.

A small black evening bag with a long shoulder strap and a metal clasp were stolen from the woman during the assault however she did not require hospital treatment.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Emily Addison, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘This is a concerning incident which has understandably caused the victim distress.
