Results of the Totteridge & Bowerdean Division by-election in High Wycombe held on Thu 7th Feb 2019
The results of the Totteridge and Bowerdean Division by-election in High Wycombe held on Thursday 7th February 2019 have been announced.
The result of the by-election was as follows :

Ben James Holkham | Liberal Democrat | 508 | 21.2% |
Richard David Peters | Conservative | 245 | 10.2% |
Israr Rashid (Labour) was elected to the Totteridge and Bowerdean Division seat on Buckinghamshire County Council with 978 votes or 40.8% of the total votes cast.
The total number of ballot papers issued was 2,407, the number of ballot papers rejected was 8 and the turnout was 30.2% with 2,399 votes being cast from an electorate in the Totteridge & Bowerdean Division of 7,968.

Following this by-election the 49 seats on Buckinghamshire County Council are made up of :
- 41 Conservatives
- 4 Liberal Democrat
- 2 Labour
- 1 East Wycombe Independent
- 1 Independent
The seat became vacant following the sad passing of Chaudhary Ditta in November 2018.
