Disruption to train services to London Marylebone (via High Wycombe) on weekend of Sat 9th and Sun 10th Feb 2019
On the weekend of Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th February 2019 the railway line between Wembley Stadium and High Wycombe will be closed.
The closure is for Network Rail improvement works and preparation work for HS2 at West Ruislip. The works are part of Britain’s Railway Upgrade Plan.
As a result the Beaconsfield line will be closed and an amended timetable will operate the weekend of Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th February 2019.
There will be no trains between Wembley Stadium and High Wycombe in either direction and a heavily amended timetable will be in operation across the Chiltern Railways network.
Most journeys to and from London Marylebone will be affected and journey times will be longer than usual. Passengers may have to change trains, travel on services run by other operators or use rail replacement buses to reach their destination.
