A public consultation on the Daws Hill Neighbourhood Plan has been launched by Wycombe District Council.
The final six week consultation, which ends on Friday 26th April 2019, will allow local people to have their say and be involved in setting out planning strategies and policies which could then be used to shape future development in the local area.
The published neighbourhood plan is the result of months of work by the Daws Hill Neighbourhood Forum including a local consultation carried out in 2018 when local residents were invited to help them set out community priorities and their vision for how local land should be best used.
Daws Hill Neighbourhood Forum has formally submitted their Neighbourhood Plan to Wycombe District Council for publication. Both organisations have been working closely to create this Neighbourhood Plan for the area.
When the consultation closes Wycombe District Council will appoint an independent examiner who will review the submitted plan and supporting documents as well as any representations received from this consultation.
The examiner will then issue a report to Wycombe District Council who will review the recommendations with the Neighbourhood Forum before determining whether the plan can go forward. If so, Wycombe District Council will organise an area wide referendum and depending on the result, the Council will then officially adopt the plan.

I’m confident that by working with local communities in this way, we can get the best outcomes for both the District and local residents.‘

In addition the public can also view hard copies of the Daws Hill Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documents at the libraries in High Wycombe and Wycombe District Council offices.
This will be the third neighbourhood plan for Wycombe District following the successful completion and adoption of plans for Bledlow cum Saunderton and Longwick cum Ilmer.
