Seven people arrested as police execute drugs warrants in Chesham

Seven people have been arrested after officers from Thames Valley Police executed drugs warrants in Chesham.

On Thursday 27th June 2019 Thames Valley Police executed five warrants at addresses in Chesham to tackle the supply of illegal drugs.

During the police operation an amount of drugs and a number of electronic devices were seized during the warrants. Seven people were arrested.

Those arrested include six men aged between 19 and 66 years old and a 37 year old woman, all from Chesham, who were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs and money laundering.

Senior Investigating Officer Detective Inspector Andrew Alexander, based at Amersham police station, said: ‘These warrants and arrests clearly demonstrate that organised criminal activity is not tolerated in the Thames Valley.

Those who deal drugs cause substantial harm to our communities. We will continue to work to prosecute those involved in criminal activity and to protect our communities from harm.
