Closure order issued on a property at McLellan Place, High Wycombe
A closure order has been issued by Thames Valley Police on a property at McLellan Place, High Wycombe.
The order, which will last for three months, was granted by High Wycombe Magistrates Court on Monday 24th June 2019.
Officers from Thames Valley Police applied for the order against the property in McLellan Place, off Chairborough Road, in High Wycombe following a number of reports of criminal and anti-social behaviour.
The closure order prohibits anyone other than specified persons listed on the order from entering the property. Anyone not named who enters the address will commit a criminal offence.
Investigating officer PC Glynn McCarthy, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘As part of a block of flats, this property has been the source of significant frustration for the local community.
This closure order demonstrates that we deal robustly with reports like this and I believe it will have a positive impact on the quality of life of residents in the local area.
I would like particularly like to thank Red Kite for their assistance in obtaining this closure order.‘
