Watch stolen during robbery in Beaconsfield

A man sustained a cut to his wrist during a robbery in which a watch was stolen in Beaconsfield.

On Wednesday 21st August 2019, at around 6.50pm, a man in is seventies drove into his driveway in Burkes Road. Two unknown men approached the man in his seventies and threatened him demanding that he hand over the high value designer watch that we has wearing.

One of the men grabbed the watch and they both left along Burkes Road towards the direction of the A40.

Both the offenders are described as men, around 6ft tall and of medium build. One was wearing a dark coloured tracksuit while the other was wearing a white tracksuit. Both men were wearing gloves and facial coverings.

During the robbery the victim sustained a cut to his wrist however he did not require hospital treatment.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Kerry Hall based at Amersham police station, said: ‘This was a frightening incident for the victim who was robbed of a personal item.

I am appealing for anyone who was in the area who may have mobile phone or dashcam footage at the time of the incident to call the 24-hour non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 43190258901 or report online.
