Two injured during assault in fast food restaurant in High Wycombe

Two people were injured during an assault in a fast food restaurant in the High Street, High Wycombe on Sunday 8th September 2019.

At around 3.25am a man and two women assaulted a 19 year old woman in the McDonalds restaurant in the High Street. The 19 year old woman suffered cuts and bruises but did not require hospital treatment.

A 20 year old man who attempted to stop the assault was also injured and was taken to hospital with minor head injuries, however he has since been discharged.

Investigating officer, PC Amy Sanderson, based at High Wycombe police station said: ‘I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to please come forward.

I know there were a number of people in the restaurant at the time and there is a high chance that they saw what happened and have information that could assist us with the investigation.

Police have arrested a 21 year old woman and a 29 year old woman, both from High Wycombe, on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
