A man tried to take a mobile phone from a 15 year old boy during attempted robbery in High Wycombe.

On Saturday 21st September 2019, at around 8.50pm, a 15 year old boy was at the junction of Oakridge Road and Upper Green Street when a man approached and tried to steal his mobile phone. However the man was unsuccessful in his attempt to steal the phone.

The man who carried out the attempted robbery is described as an Asian man, aged between 25 to 30 years old, around 5ft 10ins tall with short black hair which was shaped and trimmed. He was wearing a blue t-shirt, grey jeans and spoke with a local accent.

Investigating officer Hannah Hargreaves based at High Wycombe police station said: ‘This was a frightening incident for the victim, but thankfully nothing was stolen.
