Incident of kidnap and assault in wooded area in Downley, High Wycombe

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident of kidnap and assault in Downley, High Wycombe on Tuesday 8th October 2019.

At around 12.30am, an 18 year old man was forcibly walked into wooded area near to Plomer Green Lane, Downley by two men where he was then assaulted. During the assault the 18 year old man sustained cuts and grazes to his face however he did not need hospital treatment.

Police are searching for two men in connection with the incident. The first man is mixed race, aged between 19 and 20 years old, around 5ft 10ins tall of medium build. During the incident he was wearing a grey tracksuit and hooded jacket.

The second man is mixed race, aged between 19 and 20 years old, around 6ft tall of medium build. He was wearing a green tracksuit with a black parka jacket over the top.

Officers from Thames Valley Police would also like to trace a rose gold Peugeot 208 car which may have been involved in the incident.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Caroline Timmis of Force CID in High Wycombe, said: ‘I would like to speak to anyone who knows what happened near Plomer Green Lane during the early hours of Tuesday morning.

We would particularly like to trace the vehicle mentioned.
