Keys to moped taken during robbery in Micklefield, High Wycombe

The keys to a moped were taken during a robbery in Micklefield, High Wycombe on Thursday 10th October 2019.

At 7.45pm a man in his twenties, was sitting on his moped in a car park at the back of Wright Place on Micklefield Road. The man in his twenties was approached by two men, one of whom drew a knife and demanded that the victim get off his moped.

The two robbers took the keys, leaving the moped in place, then ran down Micklefield Road in the direction of the Corals Bookmakers shop.

The keys were later recovered and the man in his twenties did not sustain any injuries during the robbery.

The first offender is described as a black man of a thin build, around 5ft 10ins tall, with black dreadlocks down to his jawline. He was wearing a black puffer jacket with a hood and his face was partially obscured as he was using his jacket to cover the bottom half of his face.

The second offender is also described as a black man of a thin build, approximately 5ft 10ins tall and was wearing a black puffer jacket and a hooded top. He was also obscuring the bottom half of his face with his jacket.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Harry Gehnich, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘I am appealing to anybody who was in the area at the time of the offence who believes that they may have any information to contact the 24-hour non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 43190315063, or to make a report online.
