Bus stop suspensions and service diversions for the week ahead – Monday 21st October 2019

Week commencing Monday 21st October 2019 the following bus stop suspensions and service diversions are expected to affect bus services in Buckinghamshire.

Bus Diversions

Link Road, Great Missenden : Monday 14th October 2019 to Saturday 29th February 2019. Due to works on behalf of the HS2 project this road will be closed in the westbound towards Great Missenden Station, as such the bus stop outside the Library will not be served and passengers will need to use the stops on the High Street instead. The eastbound closure dates will be confirmed on this page.

Langley Park Road, Iver : Thursday 3rd October 2019 to Thursday 31st October 2019. Due to Network Rail works in the Slough area, Service 3 will divert via Thorney Lane North, Richings Way, North Park and High Street Langley and not serve Langley Park Road.

High Street, Princes Risborough : Monday 14th to Friday 2th5 October 2019 (except weekends) 8pm to 6am. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works on Duke Street the High Street stops will not be served on these nights. Passengers are advised to use the stops on New Road instead.

Westbourne Street/Desborough Road, High Wycombe : Monday 21st to Friday 25th October 2019. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works these roads will be closed during these dates. Buses will divert via the Oxford Road, West Wycombe Road and Desborough Avenue, and will not serve the ‘St John’s Church’ stops.

Oxford Street, Lee Common : Thursday 17th to Tuesday 22nd October 2019 (excluding weekends). Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road will be closed on these dates. Passengers are advised that the stops in the Lee Common will not be served on these days.

Cock Lane, High Wycombe : Friday 18th to Thursday 24th October 2019. Due to lights on the junction of Olympic Way, the 27 route is unable to turn back around. As such the stops on Cock Lane will not be served during these works.

Oxford Road, New Denham : Friday 18th to Wednesday 23rd October 2019, 7.00pm to 6.00am. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road will be closed on this night. Buses will divert and the ‘Oakside’ and ‘Knighton Way Lane’ stops will not be served between these hours.

Village Road and Common Road, Dorney : Monday 21st October 2019 to Friday 1st November 2019. Due to works to repair the Cattle Grid part of this road will be closed on these dates. The 15 will run between Slough and Colenorton Crescent in Eton Wick only and will not serve Dorney, the Bath Road or Maidenhead. The 63 and 68 buses will operate as normal between Maidenhead/Taplow and the ‘Dent’s Corner’ stops and then divert via Lake End Road taking the Bath Road to Slough as such will not serve the ‘Palmer Arms’ stops in Dorney or any stops Eton Wick or Eton.

Buckingham Road/Queen Catherine Road, Steeple Claydon : Tuesday 22nd to Thursday 24th October 2019. Due to Anglian Water works part of Buckingham Road will be closed on these days. The route 18 buses will be diverted via North End Road and will not be able to serve the Queen Catherine Road stops on these days. The nearest served stops are on West Street.

Hill Avenue/Chiltern Avenue, Amersham : Wednesday 23rd to Monday 28th October 2019, 8.00pm to 6.00am. Due to works on Station Approach on behalf of the London Underground the stops on Hill Avenue and Chiltern Avenue will not be served on these nights. Passengers are advised that the nearest served stops are either on Sycamore Road or Woodside Road.

Bus Stop Suspensions

A41, Aston Clinton Road, Aylesbury : Wednesday 17th July until Thursday 31st October 2019. Due to development and road layout works the two ‘Holiday Inn’ stops will be suspended for this period. The nearest served alternatives are the ‘Peugeot Garage’ or the ‘Bedgrove Lights’ stops.

Marsh Lane, Dorney Reach : Monday 9th September to Thursday 31st October 2019. Due to works on behalf of Cadent Gas the ‘Harcourt Road’ stop towards Maidenhead will be suspended on these dates. 63 and 68 passengers are advised to wait back along the road directly opposite the shelter in the other direction.

Aylesbury End, Beaconsfield : Monday 7th October 2019 to Friday 1st November 2019. Due to works on behalf of Cadent Gas stops H and G will be suspended. Temp stops will be provided away from the traffic management and passengers are advised to wait there instead.

Oxford Road, Stokenchurch : Monday 14th to Monday 21st October 2019. Due to Thames Water works both ‘Medical Centre’ stops will be suspended during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Kings Arms PH’ stops instead.

White Lion Road, Amersham : Monday 14th to Saturday 19th October 2019, 9.00am to 5.00pm. Due to Shift Traffic works both ‘Chiltern Heights’ stops and the ‘Pineapple PH’ stop towards Little Chalfont will be suspended at these times. Passengers from the Pineapple stop are advised to use the Village Hall stop instead and passengers from the Chiltern Heights stops are advised to use the ‘White Lion PH’ stops.

Gerrards Cross Road, Stoke Poges : Monday 14th October 2019 to Friday 1st November 2019. Due to Cadent Gas works both ‘Vine Road’ stops will be suspended on these dates. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Pennylets Green’ stops instead.

Sycamore Road, Amersham : Wednesday 16th to Tuesday 22nd October 2019. Due to works by UK Power Networks stop E will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Oakfield Corner’ stop on Hill Avenue instead.

A40 Oxford Road, Gerrards Cross : Friday 18th to Tuesday 22nd October 2019, 7.15pm to 6.00am. Due to works on behalf of BT Openreach the ‘Mumfords Lane’ stops will be suspended on these nights. Passengers are advised to use the Temporary stops provided just outside the traffic management areas and hail clearly for the bus to stop.

Aylesbury Road, Rowsham : Sunday 20th October 2019, 9.00am to 4.30pm. Due to UKPN works the ‘Main Road’ stop from Aylesbury will need to be suspended on this day. A temp stop will be provided outside the traffic management area and passengers are advised to use that instead and hail clearly for the buses.

West Street, Marlow : Monday 21st to Wednesday 23rd October 2019. Due to Thames Water works the ‘Spinfield Lane’ stop towards High Wycombe will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘West Street’ stop on Oxford Road instead.

Gore Road, Burnham : Monday 21st to Wednesday 23rd October 2019. Due to Thames Water works the ‘Gore Road’ stops near Almond Road will both be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Fairfield Road’ stops located on Britwell Road instead.

Holmer Green Road, Hazlemere : Monday 21st to Friday 25th October 2019. Due to works in the vicinity the stop towards Holmer Green north of Hazlemere Crossroad will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Park Lane’ stop further along Holmer Green Road.

Oxford Road, Denham : Monday 21st October 2019 to Friday 1st November 2019, 9.30am to 4.00pm. Due to Affinity Water works the ‘Pinestone Way’ stop towards Gerrards Cross will be suspended at these times. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Fulmer Lane’ or ‘Ugly Ducking PH’ instead.

Nashleigh Hill and Ashley Green Road, Chesham : Tuesday 22nd to Monday 28th October 2019. Due to works on behalf of BT Openreach the ‘Lycrom Road’ and ‘Ashley Hall Farm’ stops for journeys travelling away from Chesham will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Preston Hill’ or ‘Bellcote’ stops instead.

Beaconsfield Road, Farnham Common : Wednesday 23rd to Monday 28th October 2019. Due to works on behalf of Cadent Gas the ‘Royal Oak PH’ stop towards ‘Farnham Royal’ will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Hedgerley Corner’ or ‘Templewood Lane’ stops instead.

Chartridge Road, Chesham : Thursday 24th to Monday 28th October 2019, 7.30am to 6.00pm. Due to Cadent Gas works the ‘Chartridge Lane’ stops near Groves Lane will be suspended. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Berkeley Avenue’ or ‘The Warren’ stops both on Chartridge Lane instead.
