Firefighters attend Waddesdon Manor near Aylesbury

Firefighters were called to Waddesdon Manor near Aylesbury during the afternoon of Monday 21st October 2019 after a petrol tank caught fire in an outbuilding.

Firefighters were alerted to the fire at 2.30pm. One fire appliance with crew attended from Amersham fire station (which at the time was on standby in Aylesbury) as well as one from Buckingham fire station, one from Thame fire station and one from Bicester fire station. Two officers also attended.

A main jet, hose reel, two sets of breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.
