Police charge man in connection with attempted murder investigation at Marlow

A man has been charged by police in connection with an incident of attempted murder in Marlow on Monday 11th November 2019.

A 53 year old man, of no fixed abode, was charged by police on Wednesday 13th November 2019 with one count of attempted murder.

The charge relates to an incident that occurred in Marlow at about 6.00pm on Monday 11th November 2019 in which a 48 year old woman was seriously injured. As the 48 year old woman walked into the Chase from Wiltshire Road a vehicle was driven at her. The woman was knocked to the ground and stabbed before she managed to get away down a nearby alleyway and into the Parkway where she called for help.

The woman was taken to hospital with multiple stab wounds.

The 53 year old man has been remanded in to custody and will appear at High Wycombe Magistrates Court on Wednesday 13th November 2019.
