A brand new Post Office in Marlow Road, High Wycombe was officially opened on Wednesday 20th November 2019.
The Mayor of High Wycombe, Cllr Mazamal Hussain, cut the ribbon at the official opening of the brand new Marlow Road Post Office inside Jaydees News, 35 Marlow Road, High Wycombe, HP11 1TA. Jaydees News has been run by Postmaster Harish Patel and his wife Hetal Patel for 20 years.
The new Post Office is part of an exciting modernisation and investment programme taking place across the Post Office network.
Post Office services will be available seven days a week at the new Marlow Road branch on Monday to Saturday from 7.30am to 5.30pm and on a Sunday from 7.30am to 12.30pm. The new Post Office will offer customers 65 hours of Post Office service a week, making it very convenient for customers to visit.
Post Office services at the Marlow Road branch are offered from a low screened, open plan Post Office counter that is integrated into the retail counter, enabling customers to carry out a wide range of Post Office transactions alongside retail purchases.
Marlow Road Post Office offer customers a wide range of Post Office services, from posting letters and parcels to collecting and returning online shopping items. Customers can also take advantage of a wide range of banking services including cash withdrawals and balance enquiries for customers of all the main UK banks.
The new branch aims to offer even more convenience to Post Office customers by extending the availability of Post Offices services in the area. The new branch joins branches in Cressex Lane, Desborough Castle and High Wycombe bringing vital services to the area.

Offering a service seven days a week will really benefit residents and local businesses, providing access to a wide range of Post Office services.‘
Postmaster Harish Patel, said: ‘Opening a Post Office is a great way for us to mark the 20th anniversary of running this shop. We are very conveniently located near two Grammar schools and with plenty of parking. Customers are overjoyed with us opening a Post Office. It is great to see school children to pensioners all coming in for all the services that we offer including posting, pensions, banking and travel money.‘
Graham Simmons, Post Office Change Manager, said: ‘We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to pay their bills, withdraw cash from their bank accounts, and send and collect their mail at a time and place that suits them best.
We know how important our services are to customers, and are confident that this brand new Post Office alongside the other branches in the area at Cressex Lane, Desborough Castle and High Wycombe will ensure that people in this area of High Wycombe have easy access to our services.‘
