Man suffered burns to his leg when van caught fire on the A413 at Great Missenden

A van caught fire on the A413 at Great Missenden shortly after midday on Thursday 5th December 2019.

At 12.31pm firefighters were called to the incident. One fire appliance with crew attended from High Wycombe fire station.

One hose reel, two sets of breathing apparatus, a thermal imaging camera and an environmental protection kit were used by the firefighters during the operation to extinguish the fire.

A man suffered burns to his leg as well as the effects of breathing in smoke.
