Bus caught fire on the slip road to the Beaconsfield Service Station on the M40

A bus caught fire on the slip road to the Beaconsfield Service Station on the M40 during the afternoon of Friday 6th December 2019.

At 4.01pm firefighters were called to the incident. One fire appliance with crew attended from Beaconsfield fire station as well as one from Gerrards Cross fire station.

Four sets of breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, hydraulic cutting equipment and small gear were used by the firefighters during the operation to extinguish the fire.
