Police appeal for witnesses following burglary in Stokenchurch

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a burglary in Stokenchurch on Sunday 8th December 2019.

Burglars broke a lock in the back garden of a property in Collyer Road, Stokenchurch at 2.30am. They proceeded to access the back door key from inside the lock.

The noise caused by the burglars made the resident of the property wake up. The burglars fled taking the back door key with them. Nothing else was taken during the incident.

Investigating officer, PC Joseph Windsor, of High Wycombe police station, said: ‘I am appealing for witnesses to this incident of burglary.

If anyone was in the area at this time and may have seen or heard something, please come forward with any information you may have.
