Bus stop suspensions and service diversions for the week ahead – Monday 16th December 2019
Week commencing Monday 16th December 2019 the following bus stop suspensions and service diversions are expected to affect bus services in Buckinghamshire.
Bus Diversions
Link Road, Great Missenden : Monday 14th October 2019 to Saturday 29th February 2020. Due to works on behalf of the HS2 project this road will be closed in the westbound towards Great Missenden Station, as such the bus stop outside the Library will not be served and passengers will need to use the stops on the High Street instead. The eastbound closure dates will be confirmed on this page.
Chapmans Crescent, Chesham : Wednesday 20th November to Friday 20th December 2019. Due to some urgent repair works this road will be closed and bus route 77 will need to divert, by turning at Poles Hill. Passengers from Chapmans Crescent are advised to wait on the Hail and Ride section on Darvell Drive instead.
Aston Abbotts Road, Weedon : Monday 9th to Thursday 19th December 2019, 7.30am to 4.30pm. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road will be closed between these times. Passengers are advised that Wednesday and Friday services 153 and 154 will not be able serve the stops in Weedon during this period.
Deeds Grove, High Wycombe : Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th December 2019. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road will be closed and the 28 and 38 buses will not be able to serve Deeds Grove on these days. The nearest alternative stops are along Desborough Avenue.
Main Street, Padbury : Wednesday 18th to Friday 20th December 2019, 9.30am to 3.00pm. Due to works on behalf of East West Rail this road will be closed at these times and bus route 18 will need to divert. After serving all stops in Steeple Claydon the buses will divert via Gawcott. As such the stops on Main Road, Padbury or the A413 London Road ‘Lenborough Lane’ or ‘Benthill Farm’ stops will not be served during these times.
Bus Stop Suspensions
A4010, Aylesbury Road, Little Kimble : Tuesday 10th to Friday 20th December 2019, 10.00pm to 6.00am. Due to works in the vicinity both the ‘Railway Station’ stops will be suspended on these nights. Passengers for the late evening route 300 buses (last two journeys) are advised to use the ‘Brookside Lane’ stops instead.
Mount Nugent, Chesham : Wednesday 11 to Tuesday 17th December 2019. Due to urgent UKPN works in the vicinity the ‘Mount Nugent’ stop towards Chesham town centre, near the junction with Great Hivings will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Hope Church’ stop on Upper Belmont Road instead.
London Road, Aston Clinton : Thursday 12th to Wednesday 18th December 2019. Due to a burst water main, Thames Water will be making repairs along here and both ‘Hedley Close’ stops will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Buckland Wharf’ stops instead.
Beaconsfield Road, Farnham Royal : Monday 16th to Wednesday 18th December 2019. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works nearby both the ‘Farnham Park Lane’ stops will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Fairfield Lane’ stops instead.
Queen Catherine Road, Steeple Claydon : Tuesday 17th December 2019, 7.30am to 6.30pm. Due to works on behalf of East West Rail nearby the ‘Buckingham Road’ stop will be suspended. Passengers are advised to wait away from the traffic management, outside the Phoenix Public House and hail for the bus stop.
Hazlemere Road, Hazlemere : Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th December 2019. Due to works on behalf of BT Openreach the ‘Coppice Farm Road’ stop towards Penn will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the stop further back along Hazlemere Road, near the Curzon Avenue junction, instead.
Britwell Road, Burnham : Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd January 2020. Due to works on behalf of BT Openreach both ‘Fairfield Road’ stops will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the stops on Gore Road instead.
