Weapons used during incident of grievous bodily harm in High Wycombe

Police are appealing for witnessed following an incident of grievous bodily harm in High Wycombe.

On Saturday 28th December 2019, between about 1.00pm and 1.15pm a 19 year old man was assaulted by two other men in Totteridge Road at the junction with Bowerdean Road.

Police believe that weapons during the incident which left the 19 year old man with injuries to his body. The 19 year old man was taken to hospital for treatment however he has since been discharged.

Investigating officer, Detective Inspector Steve Fox, of Force CID based at High Wycombe Police Station, said: ‘Thames Valley Police received reports of a group of men fighting in Totteridge Road at the junction with Bowerdean Road.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim who had sustained lacerations across his body. He was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.

The two offenders are described as Asian; one in his twenties and the other in his forties. They left the scene in a dark coloured vehicle.

A man has been arrested by police on suspicion of affray in connection with the incident.
