Police appeal for witnesses following a burglary in Aylesbury

Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Aylesbury on Saturday 11th January 2020.

At around 5pm a property in Poole Close in Aylesbury was broken into. A number of personal items were damaged inside the property however nothing was stolen.

Investigating Officer, Detective Constable Samuel Summers, based at Aylesbury police station said: ‘I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident on Saturday.

The offender gained entry to the property by damaging the front door and may have been seen or heard by others in the area.

Police have arrested a man, aged 30, of Aylesbury on suspicion of burglary. He has been released on bail until Thursday 6th February 2020.
