Police appeal for witnesses following serious injury collision in High Wycombe

A witness appeal has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a serious injury collision involving three vehicles in High Wycombe.

On Wednesday 1st January 2020, at 6.45pm, three vehicles were involved in a collision in Cressex Road, High Wycombe.

The  vehicles involved in the collision were a white BMW, a black Volkswagen Up and a silver Ford C-Max. The 72 year old woman who was driving the Ford C-Max sustained serious injuries and is currently in hospital with life threatening injuries.

Investigating officer, PC Mark Neill, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, based at Taplow, said: ‘I am appealing for witnesses following this incident, which occurred at a time where I believe it to be likely that someone will have witnessed it.

I would ask that any motorists who were travelling on the road at this time, and believes they witnessed the collision, or drove past it, to please provide any information they have.

I would also like to appeal for any motorists with a dash-cam to review it to check if has captured anything significant. If it has please make a report to us.
