Car caught fire following collision on the M40
A car caught fire following a collision on the M40 during the early hours of Saturday 15th February 2020.
The collision occurred on the Northbound carriageway between Junction 1A (M25 interchange) and Junction 2 (Beaconsfield).
At 3.33am firefighters were called to the incident. Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station as well as one from Gerrards Cross fire station. An officer also attended.
Two sets of breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and dry powder extinguisher were used by the firefighters during the operation to extinguish the fire.
