Fight at a Pool Hall in High Wycombe leaves bystander with facial injuries

A bystander sustained facial injuries during a disturbance at a pool hall in Corporation Street, High Wycombe on Sunday 23rd February 2020.

At around 5.50am, a fight occurred in involving around 20 or 30 people at the The Raging Ball Pool Hall in Corporation Street, High Wycombe.

A glass was thrown during the disturbance which hit a woman in her thirties who was not involved in the fight. The woman sustained cuts and bruising to her face, which required stitches. The woman was taken to Stoke Mandeville hospital for treatment.

Police officers have arrested a 33 year old man from Chesham on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Rachael Peddie, of Force CID based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘The victim in this case has received injuries to her face and we are carrying out a thorough investigation.

As such we are asking anyone who witnessed the incident at the Raging Ball to please come forward.
