Police secure Partial Closure Order on a property in High Wycombe
A Partial Closure Order has been secured on a property in High Wycombe by Thames Valley Police.
The Partial Closure Order follows reports of drug dealing and anti-social behaviour at the property in London Road.
On Thursday 20th February 2020 the order was granted at High Wycombe Magistrates Court under Section 80 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Disorder Act 2014.
The order prohibits anyone other than the registered tenants or support and emergency workers from entering the property for a period of three months. Anyone who breaches this order is committing a crime and could be arrested.
PC Terry Quick, based at High Wycombe station, said: ‘We had previously attended reports of anti-social behaviour and had also executed several warrants at the address.
We recognise the impact that this behaviour can have on the surrounding community and we hope that this Partial Closure Order will reassure residents in the area that this behaviour will never be tolerated.‘
Thames Valley Police are advising that anyone who may have any information about anti-social behaviour or drug activity in their neighbourhood can report it using the online form on the Thames Valley Police website or by calling the 24-hour non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111.
