Bus stop suspensions and service diversions for the week ahead – Monday 11th May 2020
Week commencing Monday 11th May 2020 the following bus stop suspensions and service diversions are expected to affect bus services in Buckinghamshire.
Due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic there are a number of changes to Bus Services in Buckinghamshire. Details of affected services and revised timetables can be found on the Buckinghamshire Council website.
Bus Diversions
A4155, Henley Road, Marlow / Medmenham : Wednesday 6th to Wednesday 13th May 2020, 9.00am to 3.30pm. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire road repairs this road will be closed during these times. Bus service 800 and 850 will run as normal between High Wycombe and Marlow town centre then turn back round at Oxford Road, Queen’s Road and Dean Street then divert via the A404 and the A4130 to Henley. As such bus stops between Oxford Road in Marlow and Hart Street in Henley will not be served.
Water Stratford Road, Tingewick / Water Stratford : Thursday 14 May 2020, 9am to 4pm. Due to works by Openreach this road will be closed at these times. Route 132 will not be able to serve the ‘Town Farm’ stops in Water Stratford or the ‘Cemetery’ stops in Tingewick on this day.
Bus Stop Suspensions
Addison Road, Steeple Claydon : Tuesday 18th February to Friday 26th June 2020. Due to development works the stops near the junction of Vicarage Road will be suspended during this period. Passengers are advised to use the temporary stops, provided away from the works, instead.
A413 Amersham Road, Chalfont St Giles : Tuesday 17th March 2020 to Wednesday 1st July. Due to works on behalf of HS2 both ‘Cherry Acre’ and the ‘Green Meadows’ stop towards Gerrards Cross will be suspended during this period. Please use the ‘Misbourne Avenue’ or ‘King’s Road’ stops instead.
High Street, Iver : Tuesday 5th to Friday 15th May 2020. Due to works on behalf of Cadent Gas. The stop opposite Chequers Orchard will be suspended during these dates. Passengers are advised to use the ‘King’s Church’ stop instead.
Exchange Street, Aylesbury : Monday 11th to Wednesday 13th May 2020. Due to Thames Water works the stop for journeys towards the bus station will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to alight at the Bus Station instead.
Stoke Road, Aylesbury : Monday 11th to Friday 15th May 2020. Due to Thames Water works both stops on Stoke Road will be suspended on these days. Passengers can use the stops on the Gyratory or Mandeville Road instead.
A41 Aston Clinton Road, Aylesbury : Monday 11th to Friday 22nd May 2020. Due to Thames Water works the two stops nearest the roundabout to the bypass will be suspended during this period. The nearest alternative stops are by the Peugeot Garage.
Totteridge Road, High Wycombe : Tuesday 12th to Tuesday 19th May 2020. Due to Thames Water works the ‘Bowerdean Crossroads stop for journeys towards the town centre will be suspended on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Lucas Road’ stop instead.
