Fire broke out at a Household Waste and Recycling centre in Beaconsfield

Fire broke out at the Household Waste and Recycling centre in Beaconsfield during the morning of Thursday 28th May 2020.

At 9.44am firefighters were called to the incident at the Household Waste and Recycling in London Road, Beaconsfield. One fire appliance with crew attended from Beaconsfield fire station, one from Gerrards Cross fire station as well as one from High Wycombe fire station. An officer also attended.

A main jet, two hose reels, two sets of breathing apparatus and a water tanker was used by the firefighters during the operation to extinguish the fire.

The fire involved two 10m x 3m waste containers containing electrical appliances.

The firefighters left the scene shortly before 12,00pm.
