Roadworks for the week ahead – Monday 8th June 2020

Week commencing Monday 8th June 2020 Transport for Buckinghamshire will be carrying out work at the following locations.

The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.

Road surfacing schemes

B470 Langley Park Road, Wexham – Wood Lane to the county boundary : Monday 8th June 2020 to Friday 19th June 2020 – Resurfacing using a night time road closure between 7.00pm and 6.00am.

A404 Amersham Road, Amersham – Whielden Street to School Lane : Monday 8th June 2020 to Tuesday 16th June 2020 – Resurfacing using a night time road closure between 7.00pm and 6.00am.

B4011 Thame Road – Junction with Drakes Drive, Long Crendon (roundabout and approaches only) : Monday 8th June 2020 to Friday 12th June 2020 – Resurfacing using a 24-hour-a-day closure on the B4011. Access to Drakes Drive Industrial Estate maintained using temporary traffic lights.

Cambridge Street, Aylesbury – Park Street to New Street : Wednesday 10th June 2020 to Friday 12th June 2020 – Investigation work using temporary traffic lights between 7.00am and 7.00pm.

A413 Aylesbury Road, Winslow – Swanbourne junction to entrance to town : Monday 8th June 2020 to Friday 12th June 2020 – Patching using a night time road closure between 7.00pm and 6.00am.

Riley Road, Marlow – Various locations along road : Monday 8th June 2020 – Patching using a daytime road closure between 7.30am and 4.30pm.

Crown Road, Marlow – Various locations along road : Tuesday 9th June 2020 – Patching using a daytime road closure between 7.30am and 4.30pm.

Aston Abbotts Road, Weedon – Various locations along length : Tuesday 9th June 2020 to Friday 12th June 2020 – Patching using a 24-hour-a-day road closure.

Leighton Road, Wingrave – Wingrave to A418 : Monday 8th June 2020 to Tuesday 9th June 2020 – Patching using a daytime road closure between 7.00am and 7.00pm.

Drainage Programme

Ash Grove, Stoke Poges – Along cul de sac : Monday 8th June 2020 to Tuesday 9th June 2020 – Drainage improvement using local traffic management between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Mapridge Green Lane, Great Missenden – Rignall Road junction : Monday 8th June 2020 to Wednesday 17th June 2020 – Drainage improvement using temporary traffic lights between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Bridge improvements

High Street, Marlow – Marlow Bridge : Bridge refurbishment using a 24-hour-a-day road closure until Monday 8th June 2020. Work has made good progress and is expected to be completed over the weekend. If bad weather causes delays, any remaining work will be carried out using temporary traffic lights.
