The branch of Boots in the High Street, High Wycombe is to close permanently on Saturday 11th July 2020.

A notice announcing the closure is displayed in the main window of the shop in the High Street. There are also other notices announcing the closure displayed prominently inside the store.

On Tuesday 28th May 2019 Boots announced a store closure program that would affect around 200 stores.

The Boots store and associated pharmacy has occupied the ground floor of the premises of 4 High Street, High Wycombe for many years. Prior to becoming a branch of Boots the building was The Grapes public house however briefly in the 1970’s it changed its name to The Coach & Horses before returning to The Grapes and closing in the 1980’s.

The staff at the Boots store in High Street are to transfer to the Boots branch in the Eden shopping centre which is to remain open at Unit 69, Eden Shopping Centre, Eden Walk, High Wycombe, Bucks, HP11 2BZ.
