Police appeal for witnesses following a burglary in Downley, High Wycombe

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a burglary in Downley, near High Wycombe.

On Saturday 20th June 2020, sometime between 12.00am and 12.30am, burglars made a forced entry into a property in South View, Downley.

A handbag containing house and car keys was taken during the burglary as well as a laptop computer. A grey coloured Kia Ceed GT, with a registration beginning LX19, was also taken.

Investigator Glen Mulhern, based at High Wycome police station, said: ‘I am appealing for witnesses to this incident of burglary, during which a vehicle along with other items were taken from the property.

If anyone who was in this area at the time saw or heard anything, then please get in touch with police.

I would also like to appeal to motorists who believe they may have seen the grey coloured Kia Ceed GT, with the registration beginning LX19. Also, can I ask that motorists in the local area that have access to a dashcam review the footage.
