Police appeal for witnesses following incident of affray in Chairborough Road, High Wycombe
An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following an incident of affray in High Wycombe.
On Tuesday 16th June 2020, at approximately 11.50am, an altercation took place between a group of men in Chairborough Road, High Wycombe.
As a result one man sustained injuries consistent with stab wounds to his elbow and shoulder and was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.
Police believe the men involved in the incident are all men. The first man was wearing a dark grey tracksuit with the hood pulled up over his face and was slim build and about 6ft 2ins tall. He was wearing blue latex gloves.
The second man was between 5ft 10ins and 6ft tall, of slender build with black hair, stubble and was wearing long shorts and a dark top.
After the altercation a black Mazda was seen to leave the scene at speed.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Aimee Summers, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘We are treating this incident as an affray and have arrested and charged one person.
I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident or recognises the description of any of the men, to please get in contact with police.
In addition, anybody who has CCTV from the area or who may have dash-cam footage, please check this and contact us if it has captured anything that could assist the investigation.

A man has been charged by police in connection with the incident.
