Fatal road traffic collision on the B482 Marlow Road at Cadmore End results in appeal for witnesses by police
A fatal road traffic collision on the B482 Marlow Road at Cadmore End near High Wycombe has resulted in an appeal for witnesses being launched by Thames Valley Police.
On Monday 29th June 2020, at around 5.38pm, a man in his nineties was driving a white Skoda Citigo on the B429 Marlow Road at Cadmore End. The vehicle was travelling towards High Wycombe however the vehicle left the road and came to a stop in a ditch where it overturned.
The driver sustained a head injury and was taken to hospital but sadly he later died. His next of kin have been informed and they are being supported by specially trained police officers.
Investigating officer, Sergeant Mark Gawthrop, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: ‘We have spoken to two people who stopped and assisted at the scene. We are appealing for anyone else who witnessed this tragic incident, or who has any information to please come forward.
I would also urge any motorists with dash-cams to check any footage in case it may have captured something before the collision or the collision itself that could assist with the investigation.
