Arson suspected following fire on first floor of house in High Wycombe
Fire broke out on the first floor of a house in High Wycombe during the early hours of Sunday 19th July 2020.
At 5.00am firefighters were called to the incident in Bowerdean Road, High Wycombe. Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station as well as one from Beaconsfield fire station. An officer attended.
A main jet, two hose reels, four sets of breathing apparatus, a fan and thermal imaging camera were used by the firefighters during the operation to extinguish the fire.
The first floor of the house was 50% damaged by fire and 100% damaged by smoke. The ground floor of the house was affected by water damage.
Arson is suspected to be the cause of the fire.
