Roadworks for the week ahead – Monday 2nd November 2020
Week commencing Monday 2nd November 2020 Transport for Buckinghamshire will be carrying out work at the following locations.
The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.
Plane and Patch Programme
Welsh Lane, Biddlesden – Stowe Park junction to 30 mph limit sign : Monday 2nd November 2020 to Friday 6th November 2020 – Carriageway patching works using a daytime road closure in operation between 7.00am and 7.00pm.
Micro Surfacing Programme
Quarrendon Road and side roads, Amersham – Various locations along length of roads : Monday 3rd November 2020 to Wednesday 4 November 2020 – Carriageway iron works using a daytime road closure in operation between 7.00am and 7.00pm.
Stanley Hill Avenue, Amersham – Various locations along length of road : Wednesday 4th November 2020 – Carriageway iron works using a daytime road closure in operation between 7.00am and 7.00pm.
Mentmore Road / High Street, Cheddington – Various locations along length of roads : Thursday 5th November 2020 to Tuesday 10th November 2020 – Carriageway iron works using a temporary traffic signals and localised traffic management in operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Joint sealing Programme
Coldharbour Way, Aylesbury – Roundabouts : Monday 2nd November 2020 to Wednesday 4th November 2020 – Carriageway joint sealing works using a night time road closure in operation between 7.00pm and 6.00am.
Churchill Avenue / Grenville Road, Aylesbury – Roundabout : Thursday 5th November 2020 – Carriageway joint sealing works using a night time road closure in operation between 7.00pm and 6.00am.
Creighton Road, Aylesbury – Roundabout : Friday 6th November 2020 – Carriageway joint sealing works using a night time road closure in operation between 7.00pm and 6.00am.
Bridge Improvement Programme
B488 Horton Road, Ivinghoe – 200m either side of the Grand Union Canal bridge : Monday 2nd November 2020 to Friday 20th November 2020 – Bridge strengthening repairs using a 24 hour closure.
Station Road, Loudwater – A40 junction with Station Road : Monday 2nd November 2020 to Friday 4th December 2020 – Retaining wall refurbishment using temporary traffic signals in operation 24 / 7.
Footway Structural Repair Programme
Cottesloe Road, Aylesbury – Churchill Avenue to Clover Lane : Monday 2nd November 2020 to Friday 27th November 2020 – Footway improvement works using localised traffic management in operation between 7.30am and 4.30pm.
London Road, Great Missenden – School playing field entrance to fire station : Monday 2nd November 2020 to Friday 20th November 2020 – Footway improvement works using temporary traffic signals in operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm (3.00pm during school term time)
Drainage Improvement Schemes
Jordans Lane, Seer Green – Outside Longlands : Monday 2nd November 2020 to Friday 6th November 2020 – Drainage improvement works using temporary traffic signals in operation between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
Grovers Court, Princes Risborough – In cul-de-sac : Monday 2nd November 2020 to Tuesday 3rd November 2020 – Drainage improvement works using localised traffic management in operation between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
Missenden Road / Wey Lane / Church Street, Chesham : Monday 2nd November 2020 to Wednesday 23rd December 2020 – Installation of new culvert using a road closure in operation 24 / 7.
Covid – Active Travel Plan
Southcourt, Aylesbury – Various locations : Monday 2nd November 2020 to Tuesday 10th November 2020 – Pop up cycle way / planters for point closures / lining works and additional signage using mobile works and temporary traffic signals in operation between 8.00am and 4.00pm.
