Firefighters help to rescue an injured duck
Firefighters gave assistance to the RSPCA during an operation to rescue an injured duck during the afternoon of Monday 1st February 2021.
At 2.23pm firefighters were called to the incident in Station Road, Loudwater. One fire appliance with crew attended from Beaconsfield fire station.
The right wing of the duck had become impailed on a barbed fishing hook in about a foot of water.
The firefighters used water rescue PPE and a tool kit during the operation to rescue the duck.
