Police appeal for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision in High Wycombe

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a serious injury road traffic collision in High Wycombe.

On Monday 26th April 2021, shortly after 2.30pm, a black Honda Insight was travelling eastbound along London Road, Loudwater when it was in collision with a parked goods lorry outside the Mr India takeaway.

During the collision a passenger in the Honda car, a woman in her eighties, sustained serious injuries including a broken left arm, two broken spinal bones a broken nose and four broken ribs. The injured woman was initially taken to Wexham Park Hospital and was later transferred to the John Radcliffe Hospital.

Investigating officer PC Alistair Bennett, based at Amersham police station said: ‘I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or anyone who was driving in the area at the time and has dash-cam footage of the incident or of a black Honda Insight to please get in touch.
