Man stabbed during a fight in Rutland Avenue, High Wycombe
An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following an incident in High Wycombe in which a man suffered stab wounds.
On Tuesday 27th April 2021, at around 6.00pm, police officers attended Rutland Avenue, High Wycombe following reports of a fight involving a large group of people. The group involved in the altercation was made up of between 10 and 20 people, mostly Asian men.
During the incident a 28 year old man was stabbed in his leg. The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Investigating officer Detective Inspector Gill Fox, based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘This was a large-scale fight and I believe there will have been a number of witnesses as many of those present were filming the incident on their phones.
I am appealing to anybody who witnesses the fight, or has phone or dash-cam footage from the incident, to please get in touch with police.

This was a serious incident with the victim requiring stitches to a leg wound.
