Fire broke out in a flat in Marlow

Fire broke out in a flat in Marlow on Tuesday 7th December 2021.

At 11.41am firefighters were called to the incident in Foxes Piece, Marlow. Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station as well as one from Amersham fire station.

When the firefighters arrived at the scene they discovered that a small fire had broken out in the kitchen of a first floor flat located within a three-storey block and smoke was issuing from a window.

The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan during the operation to extinguish the fire.
