Man suffers three broken ribs during a GBH incident in the High Street, High Wycombe

An appeal for witnesses has been launched by Thames Valley Police following a GBH incident near the Guildhall in High Wycombe.

On Sunday 5th December 2021, between 2.30am and 3.30am a man in his thirties was assaulted by a group of 8 to 12 offenders near the Guildhall on the High Street in High Wycombe.

During the incident the man in his thirties sustained a fractured orbital bone and three broken ribs for which he received treatment in Wexham Park Hospital, Weston Eye Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital.

One of the men who carried out the attack is described as a black man with short dreadlocks and aged between 20 and 30. He had a London accent and a gold tooth in the middle of the top row.

Case investigator, Hannah Hargreaves based at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘We are appealing for witnesses to this incident to please come forward.
