Bus stop suspensions and service diversions in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 28th February 2022

Week commencing Monday 28th February 2022 the following bus stop suspensions and service diversions are expected to affect bus services in Buckinghamshire.

Bus Diversions

West Wycombe Road, High Wycombe : Monday 4th January 2022 to Monday 30th May 2022. Due to long term Cadent Gas works, Arriva bus route 48 will divert via Dashwood Avenue and will not serve stops along the West Wycombe Road. Other services along here will operate as normal but May 2022 be delayed at times.

Fidler’s Field, Quainton : Monday 14th February 2022 to Thursday 31st March 2022. Due to HS2 works this road will be closed at times during this period. Bus route 16 will run a revised temporary timetable serving Quainton between Waddesdon and Aylesbury in both directions.

Manor Farm Road, Barton Hartshorn : Monday 14th February 2022 to Friday 8th April 2022. Due to Anglian Water works this road will be closed during this period. The Tuesday only 133 will need to divert and won’t serve Barton Hartshorn during this period.

Little Horwood Road, Winslow : Monday 21st February 2022 to Friday 25th March 2022. Due to East-West Rail works this road will be closed. Z&S Transport’s service 50 will travel between Little Horwood and Winslow via Great Horwood and run to a revised temporary timetable.

Farnham Road, Farnham Royal / Slough : Monday 28th February 2022 and Tuesday 1st March 2022, 8pm to 6am. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road will be closed on these nights near Beechwood School. The late journeys on route X74 will need to divert via Park Road and Stoke Road missing stops on Farnham Road between Park Road and Sheffield Road.

Churchway Haddenham : Tuesday 1st to Thursday 3rd March 2022, 9.30am to 3pm. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works this road will be closed between Station Road and Bank Street. Bus route 120 will not serve stops on Churchway or Station Road at these times.

Bus Stop Closures

Fennels Farm Road, Flackwell Heath : Wednesday 2nd to Monday 28th February 2022. Due to works on behalf of Swish Fibre the two stops on Fennels Farm Road will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the stops on Swains Lane or Oakland Road instead.

Straight Bit, Flackwell Heath : Wednesday 2nd February 2022 to Friday 1st April 2022. Due to rolling works with lights on behalf of Swish Fibre the stops between Old Kiln Road and Northern Woods will not be served at times during this period. Passengers are advised to wait where safe away from the works and hail clearly to the driver to stop.

Heath End Road, Flackwell Heath : Friday 18th February 2022 to Friday 4th March 2022. Due to Thames Water works the two ‘Bucks College’ stops will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Rugwood Road’ stops instead.

London Road, High Wycombe : Monday 21st February 2022 to Wednesday 2nd March 2022. Due to Instal works the two ‘London Road Lidl’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Chestnut Avenue’ stops instead.

Wycombe Road, Prestwood : Friday 25th February 2022 to Wednesday 2nd March 2022. Due to Swish Fibre works the ‘Hildreth Road’ stop for journeys towards High Wycombe will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Sixty Acres Road’ stop instead.

Little Marlow Road, Marlow : Monday 28th February 2022 and Tuesday 1st March 2022. Due to building works in the vicinity the ‘Spittal Street’ stop for journeys towards Henley will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Foxes Piece’ stop for routes 800 / 850 and 28M, and the High Street for routes 158 and 160.

Totteridge Road, High Wycombe : Monday 28th February 2022 to Wednesday 2nd March 2022. Due to Thames Water works the two ‘Duke Street’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Lucas Road’ stops instead.

Werner Terrace, Calvert : Monday 28th February 2022 to Friday 15th April 2022. Due to HS2 works the stop on Werner Terrace will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the stop on Brackley Road instead.

London Road East, Amersham : Tuesday 1st to Thursday 3rd March 2022. Due to Affinity Water works the ‘Finch Lane’ stop for journeys towards Chalfont St Giles will not be served on these dates. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Bramble Lane’ stop instead.

New Road, High Wycombe : Wednesday 2nd to Tuesday 15th March 2022, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works the two ‘Squirrel Lane’ stops will not be served at these times. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Turnpike Corner’ stops instead.
