Roadworks in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 16th May 2022

Week commencing Monday 16th May 2022 Transport for Buckinghamshire will be carrying out work at the following locations.

The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.

Plane and Patch Programme

Bushmead Road, Whitchurch – The A413 to Cublington Road : Thursday 12th May 2022 to Tuesday 17th May 2022 – Surface patching works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 4.00pm.

West Street, Buckingham – Whole Length of West Street : Tuesday 17th May 2022 to Wednesday 18th May 2022 – Surface patching work using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00pm and 6.00am.

Buckingham Road Ring Road, Buckingham – London Road to The A413 : Thursday 19th May 2022 to Saturday 28th May 2022 – Surface patching works using multi-way temporary traffic lights Monday to Friday between 8.00pm and 6.00am.

Surface Dressing Programme

Penfold Lane, Holmer Green – The Common to Highmore Cottages : Monday 16th May 2022 to Friday 20th May 2022 – Surface treatment patching preparation works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 3.00pm.

Drainage Improvement Schemes

West End Lane, Weston Turville – Whole of West End Lane : Monday 19th April 2022 to Friday 27th May 2022 – Drainage improvement works using give and take traffic management in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Hulcott Lane, Bierton – Hulcott Lane junction with A418 to Cane End Lane junction with A418 : Tuesday 3rd May 2022 to Friday 3rd June 2022 – Drainage improvement works using give and take traffic management in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Footway Improvement Schemes

Bellingdon Road, Chesham – From Deansway to Lowndes Avenue : Tuesday 10th May 2022 to Friday 3rd June 2022 – Footway improvement works using 2-way temporary traffic lights in operation Monday to Friday 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Broadlands Avenue, Chesham – Whole of Broadlands Avenue : Monday 9th May 2022 to Monday 6th June 2022 – Footway improvement works using a footway give and take management system in operation Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm.

Street Lighting Schemes

Kelvin Close, High Wycombe – Outside No. 15 and 42 : Monday 16th May 2022 – Lamp column replacement works using give and take traffic management in operation between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Garratts Way, High Wycombe – Outside No. 138 : Tuesday 17th May 2022 – Lamp column replacement works using give and take traffic management in operation between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Brindley Avenue, High Wycombe – Outside the shopping parade : Tuesday 17th May 2022 – Lamp column replacement works using give and take traffic management in operation between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Butlers Court, High Wycombe – Opposite No. 5 : Wednesday 18th May 2022 – Lamp column replacement works using give and take traffic management in operation between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Bridge Schemes

High Street, Marlow – Marlow Bridge : Tuesday 5th October 2021 to Tuesday 25th October 2022 – Major bridge refurbishment using a footway closure when appropriate in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Highway Infrastructure Projects (HIPs)

A41 Bicester Road – Rabans Lane to Paradise Orchard including Jackson Road and Dickens Way, Aylesbury : Tuesday 1st June 2022 2021 to 31st August 2022 – Works will continue on the eastbound A41 Bicester Road on approach to Jackson Road roundabout with narrow lanes whilst construction works for carriageway and footway widening works are being undertaken daytime and two-way traffic flow will be maintained at all times.
