Bus stop suspensions and service diversions in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 27th June 2022

Week commencing Monday 27th June 2022 the following bus stop suspensions and service diversions are expected to affect bus services in Buckinghamshire.

Bus Diversions

Church Street, Chesham : Monday 27th June 2022 to Friday 16th September 2022. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire closures this road will be closed. Bus route 177 will need to divert after serving Hyde Heath and the Hyde End stop, stops on Missenden Road and Church Street will not be served during this period.

North Orbital Road, Denham : Monday 1st to Sunday 31st July 2022, 11.00pm to 5.00am. Due to HS2 works this road will be closed at these times. Bus route 724 will divert and will not serve stops in Denham on these nights.

Desborough Road, High Wycombe : Sunday 3rd July 2022. Due to an event along here buses will divert via the West Wycombe Road and Desborough Avenue, missing the ‘St John’s Church’ stops.

Bus Stop Closures

Camborne Avenue, Aylesbury : Monday 23rd May to Tuesday 16th August 2022. Due to works on behalf of Thames Water the ‘Jansell Square’ stop for school time route 50 and 61A bus routes only will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Langdon Avenue’ stop instead.

Thame Road, Chilton : Monday 23rd May to Tuesday 16th August 2022. Due to works on behalf of Thames Water the two stops on Thame Road will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to wait where safe outside the works area and hail to the drivers to stop.

Wendover Road, Hampden Hall, Weston Turville : Monday 13th June 2022 to Monday 4th July 2022. Due to Transport for Buckinghamshire works the ‘Silver Birch Way’ stop for journeys towards Aylesbury will not be served during this period. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Hampden Hall’ stop instead.

High Street, Whitchurch : Tuesday 21st to Monday 27th June 2022. Due to UKPN works the two ‘White Horse Lane’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Methodist Church’ instead.

Mandeville Road, Aylesbury : Thursday 23rd to Tuesday 28th June 2022. Due to UKPN works the two ‘Harvey Road’ stops will not be served on these dates. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Stadium Approach’ stops instead.

Bellingdon Road, Chesham : Monday 27th June 2022. Due to Freeflow works the ‘Fire Station’ stop will not be served on this day. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Valley View’ stop on Hivings Hill instead.

New Road, Tylers Green : Monday 27th to Wednesday 29th June 2022. Due to works in the vicinity the two ‘Hillcroft road’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Potters Cross’ or ‘New Road’ stops instead.

Boundary Road, Wooburn Green : Monday 27th June 2022 to Sunday 3rd July 2022. Due to SSE works in the vicinity the two ‘Hedge Lea’ stops will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Boundary Place’ or ‘Knaves Beech’ stops instead.

Weedon Road, Aylesbury : Tuesday 28th June 2022, 9.30am to 1.30pm. Due to sewer cover repairs the two ‘Cromwell Avenue’ stops will not be served between these times. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Savernake Road’ stops located on Meadowcroft instead.

Park Road, Chesham : Tuesday 28th June 2022, 9.00am to 6.00pm. Due to Thames Water works the two stops on Park Road will not be served at these times. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Chiltern Hills Academy’ stops instead.

New Road, High Wycombe : Tuesday 28th June 2022. Due to works in the vicinity the two ‘Squirrel Lane’ stops will not be served on this day. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Turnpike Corner’ stops instead.

Chorley Road, West Wycombe : Thursday 30th June 2022 and Friday 1st July 2022. Due to Openreach work the ‘Cockshoot Farm’ stop for journeys towards the village centre and High Wycombe will not be served on these days.

Aston Clinton Road, Aylesbury : Monday 4th to Saturday 9th July 2022, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Due to works in the vicinity the two ‘Holiday Inn’ stops will not be served at these times. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Bedgrove Lights’ stops instead.

West Wycombe Road, High Wycombe : Monday 4th to Sunday 10th July 2022. Due to Instal works the ‘White Horse PH’ stop for journeys travelling away from the town centre will not be served on these days. Passengers are advised to use the ‘Riverside’ stop instead.
