Highway Infrastructure Projects (HIPs)
A41 Bicester Road – Rabans Lane to Paradise Orchard including Jackson Road and Dickens Way, Aylesbury : Please be advised that as of Friday 15th July 2022, overnight road closures of the A41 will commence Monday to Friday from 8.00pm to 6.00am for approximately 2 weeks, whilst construction works and carriageway resurfacing of the A41 is undertaken. The A41 will be closed between Rabans Lane and the Paradise Orchard junction, a local diversion will be in place during these overnight closures. It should also be noted that for safety reasons, both Jackson Road and Dickens Way will remain closed until the new traffic signals are fully operational. The reason for both Jackson Road and Dickens Way to remain closed is purely for safety reasons due to the change in configuration of the junction from a roundabout to a signal-controlled junction. During this time our workforce will be required to install new cabling and traffic signals. It is imperative that the safety of our workforce and both residents and travelling members of the Public remain paramount during these works. As such the existing diversion routes for both Jackson Road and Dickens Way will remain in place until the Tuesday 30th August 2022. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused, but please be assured we are working to deliver the project as safely and quickly as possible.
